DR. JACKIE SCARBROUGH
Dr. Jackie Scarbrough is a Sanilac county native who graduated as valedictorian from Peck High School in 1994. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Saginaw Valley State University in 1999 and her doctor of optometry from Michigan College of Optometry in 2003.
After gaining experience in
corporate optometry for several years, Dr.
Scarbrough opened Family Eye Care of Lexington
in 2006. |
She practices full scope
primary care optometry including treatment and
management of ocular diseases (such as dry eye,
ocular allergies, and glaucoma), pediatric care,
specialty contact lens fittings for multifocals
and astigmatism, and surgical co-management for
cataracts and LASIK. Dr. Scarbrough also has a
special interest in nutrition and natural
health. She enjoys gluten free, whole food,
organic cooking and baking for her family. Dr.
Scarbrough and her husband Will have five
children whom they homeschool. They are also
active members of their local church where she
teaches Sunday school.

Dr. Scott has practiced full
scope primary care optometry for five years in
Ohio, West Virginia, and Michigan. She has
treated thousands of patients and excels in the
areas of specialty contact lens fittings (such
as multifocals and those for astigmatism),
working with young children, and also treating
and managing ocular diseases of all types. Dr. Scott has also volunteered on a mission trip to Grenada where she performed eye examinations and provided glasses for the lesser privileged.
Dr. Scott and her husband have four children
and enjoys reading, cooking, and spending
quality time with family. She is also an avid sports fan and closely follows the Tigers, Lions, and Pistons.
In 2012, Dr. Scott was
excited to join Family Eye Care with her sister
Dr. Jackie Scarbrough. Dr. Scott practices
in both the Lexington and Sandusky locations
providing care to the residents of Sanilac
County. |
